YoYo Handicrafts began with a simple frustration: beautiful, safe, GI-tagged Channapatna toys were hard to find outside Karnataka, and even harder to buy in bulk for schools, stores or gifting. So we set up our own manufacturing workshop in Channapatna to make them ourselves.

Every toy that reaches you is manufactured in-house, using the same process used for generations — a block of local ivory-wood mounted on a lathe, shaped with hand tools, and coloured using lac dye sticks melted onto the spinning wood.

Because we manufacture everything ourselves — turning, dyeing, quality checks, packaging and shipping — we control every step, so the toy that arrives at your door is exactly the one that left our workshop.
